Focus Area (Thematic Areas)

Considering the strategic issues, WCLRF is dedicated to work in following thematic areas, which support the organization’s strategic goals & objectives.

• Advocacy and lobbying: (at different level i.e., from Grassroots to regional and national level and international level for decision-making process and policies formulation relevant to Afghan women & girls rights).
• Public Awareness (i.e., human/women/ children rights & protection and social affairs).
• Research (The purpose of research is to identify the root causes, challenges, and effects relevant to social problems, and provide alternative solutions and recommendations for informed actions). i.e., women and children rights and legal protection, customs, traditions, displacement, and in humanitarian contexts, etc.).
• Coordination and networking (i.e., of relevant stakeholders for partnerships, collective actions, and joint efforts for advocacy and other concerned subjects).
• Capacity building & resilience (i.e., improve relevant stakeholders/organizations- capacity building and viability to actively participate in collective actions for advocacy).
• Women economic empowerment (i.e., Livelihoods, small-medium enterprises/ small-scale businesses, and vocational skills).

Contributing to the efforts of humanitarian actions (i.e., support the humanitarian actions and emergency response mechanisms through performing researches, facilitating legal environment, and advocacy, and furthermore, ensure the role of gender and women-led/right CSOs in humanitarian actions).
